Dubovica Beach sits about 8 kilometers east of Hvar Town on the south shore of Hvar Island, Croatia, often called the prettiest beach on an island full of them. A short rocky path leads down from a small parking area to a pebble strip under 100 meters long, with a restaurant right on the sand run out of an old stone house.

Locals Score🥥🥥🥥🥥🥥

A genuinely beautiful cove with a real restaurant on the sand, though its reputation as Hvar's best beach means the small parking lot and bay both fill up fast in peak season.

Local Tip

Go by boat from Hvar harbor if you want to skip the parking scramble, since the small lot above the beach fills quickly once the day boats start arriving.

Parking

There's a small parking area along the coastal road from Hvar Town, with a short rocky path down from there to the beach itself.

Accessibility

The path from the parking area to the sand is short but rocky and uneven, manageable on foot but not suited to strollers or wheelchairs.

Weather & the best time to visit

June through September brings the warm, clear turquoise water Hvar is known for, with July and August drawing the heaviest boat traffic into the bay.
