Kroerza Beach

Kroerza Beach sits in a small bay on the Albanian Riviera between Saranda and Himara, its white sand and turquoise water framed by cliffs and green hills far from the developed strip further north. There's no road access at all, which keeps this one of the quieter stops on a coastline that gets busier every year.
One of the last genuinely untouched coves on this stretch of coast, though the total lack of road access and facilities mean it takes real planning to reach and stay comfortable.
Book a boat from Saranda harbor rather than attempting the coastal hike from Lukove unless you're prepared for a genuine 5 kilometer trek over rough terrain.
There's no road to the beach. Boats depart from Saranda harbor for the 30 to 40 minute ride, with several operators running daily trips in summer.
Boats generally beach directly on the sand, and there's no paved path or infrastructure beyond seasonal pop-up bars during peak summer.
June through September brings the warm, calm Ionian water and the season when the pop-up bars and boat trips actually run, with the coast far quieter and less accessible outside those months.
