Mararison Island Sandbar

Mararison Island sits about three nautical miles off Culasi in Antique province, on Panay Island in the Philippines, and its sandbar at the eastern tip is the main reason people make the crossing. The sandbar only fully emerges during summer and the amihan monsoon season, and the island itself is small enough to walk around in under an hour.
A striking, still lightly visited sandbar for how photogenic it is, though it only fully forms part of the year, so timing matters more here than at most beaches on this list.
Ask locally about the season before planning around the sandbar specifically. It only shows fully at certain times of year, and going during the wrong stretch means a normal beach instead of the exposed sand spit.
There's no bridge or car access. Boats leave from Culasi's mainland port for the 15 to 20 minute ride, and most visitors arrange lodging through the island's homestays rather than day-tripping.
The boat lands directly on the beach in most conditions, and the walk from there to the sandbar is flat and easy, though it requires wading depending on the tide.
The sandbar shows most reliably during the dry, amihan-influenced months from roughly November through April. The southwest monsoon from June through October brings rougher boat crossings from the mainland.
