Plage de la Pointe de l'Aiguille sits at the end of a seafront promenade in Theoule-sur-Mer on the French Riviera, a quiet stretch of fine sand tucked among the same red volcanic rock that colors much of this coast. A marked underwater snorkeling trail runs along the pebbly edges of the point each summer, and the setting feels more like a small natural park than a typical Riviera beach.
A calm, well protected cove that feels quieter than the bigger Riviera beaches nearby, though the pebbly snorkeling area and modest size mean it's more of a specific outing than an all day beach base.
Follow the underwater trail if you're snorkeling here between mid-June and mid-September, when it's marked and maintained. The water stays notably calm thanks to how sheltered the point is.
The beach sits about 800 meters from the road at the end of the Andre Pradeyrol promenade, a roughly 25 minute drive south of Cannes, with parking available near the start of the walk.
The promenade itself is a flat, paved seafront walkway, and the beach at the end is easy to reach on foot, though the underwater trail area involves pebbles rather than sand.
June through September brings the warm, calm water and the marked snorkeling season, with the point's sheltered position keeping currents and waves minimal most of the year.
